Breast Self-Examination

• All women should perform BSE by age 20, once a month

Clinical Breast Examination

• Between the ages of 20 and 39, once every 3 years
• After age 40, once a year

Mammograms

• Between the ages of 40 and 49, once every 1–2 years
• After age 50, once a year

Note :

• Most of the breast abnormalities are not breast cancer
• Report to your doctor right away if you detect any unusual breast lump
• Let your doctor confirm whether the lump is benign or further diagnosis is required
